Pàver incorporates a new 1.600 kN mechanical press manufactured by ARISA®. Our main activity  is stamping of metallic parts using progressive dies.

To achieve best product Quality and productive processes, not only very good toolings, but also best and most suitable presses are to be used.
Generally speaking, parts stamped at Pàver are quite technical and complex. This means that the progressive dies that are used to produce them, which are also designed and built at Pàver, use to have a large number of steps, that leads to dies that are relatively long, with respect to the size of the parts.
Such dies need to be used in presses with large benches. Sometimes, this causes that it becomes necessary to use them in a press bigger than that required with respect to the power that they actually need. Because of this, ARISA has designed and built a special press of 1.600 kN with oversized bench and slider, therefore keeping the agility of a lower press, combined with the capability of a bigger one.

Built by renamed Spanish manufacturer ARISA, with double column at each side, driven by eccentric wheels, its main features are the following:
• Work power 1.600 kN
• Variable speed from 40 to 140 strokes/min
• Variable course from 40 to 160 mm
• Bench and slider useful size 1.600 x 900 mm
• CNC ARISA feeding system 400 x 5 mm
• Multiple courses with motor-driven changeover
• Hydraulic clutch
• Automatic programming and changeover of tooling parameters.
This press comes to fill the gap between the three 2.500 kN presses and the 1.250 kN press already existing at Pàver, all them made by the same manufacturer ARISA.

This machine, along with the die sinking EDM machine wich will be incorporated in September, it represents a total investment of 356.000 €.
